Religion
China is a country that having many kinds of religious belief, people are free in choosing their own religions and they can express their beliefs openly. According to some recent surveys, there are 100 million people who have religious beliefs and religious establishments about 85,000 with 300,000 clergymen in China nowadays. There are some major religions in China Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Catholicism, Protestantism and Islam.

Visas
For the china travel Visas are required by most foreigners entering mainland China although, at this stage, visas are not required by Western nationals visiting Hong Kong and Macau. Visas are available from Chinese embassies and consulates in most countries.

The visa fees vary enormously depending on your nationality and number of entries. However, according to the Visa Fee Abolition Agreement, the nationals of following seven countries are free of Chinese visa fees, but they need pay for the express service, rush service or mail service: Pakistan, Maldives, Bulgaria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Poland, Yugoslavia and Slovakia. Visa application by mailing is accepted at some Chinese embassies or consulates, such as China Embassy in Canberra, Australia.

Best time for visit
China is a vast country with wide-ranging climatic conditions, so a decision about the best time to visit should be based on the regions you plan to tour and the kind of weather you enjoy.

Spring (March-April) and autumn (September-October) are the best times to visit China. Daytime temperatures range from 20°C to 30°C (68°F-86°F) in these seasons – but bear in mind that nights can still be bitterly cold and it can sometimes be wet and miserable. Major public holidays, in particular Chinese New Year, are best avoided as it’s difficult to get around and/or find accommodation.

If you looking season wise:
Autumn
Normally, the most comfortable season of the year is early autumn (September to early October). During that period, temperatures are reasonable throughout China (about 50-72F) with a limited amount of rain. September for example is the only month in the year when the ancient and valuable paintings of the Beijing Palace Museum are displayed due to proper climate conditions (low humidity and proper temperature).
Spring
Spring can also be delightful with the average temperatures roughly the same as in autumn (about 50-72F). The best way to deal with weather unpredictability is to wear layered clothing that will make you comfortable in both chilly and warm weather.
Summer
Summer (from June to the end of August) can be extremely hot with temperatures well above 72F, especially in the famous ‘four furnaces’ of China: Wuhan, Tianjin, Chongging, and Nanchang. Summer is also a rainy season, so travelers should not forget umbrellas, light raincoats and rubber/plastic shoes.
Winter 
Winter can be incredibly cold especially in the north. Off season travel can also offer its rewards.

Beijing

Shanghai
 Shanghai is a scintillating business city bristling with rapid cultural change. Since market restrictions were lifted, Shanghai has embraced the forces of business and design and rewritten its m.o., shaping a fresh, new city that is sophisticated, innovative and living a life it has never lived before.

Xi’an
 Xi’an is once a major crossroads on the trading routes from eastern China to central Asia, and vied with Rome and later Constantinople for the title of greatest city in the world. Today Xi’an is one of China’s major draw cards, largely because of the Army of Terracotta Warriors on the city’s eastern outskirts. Uncovered in 1974, over 10,000 figures have been sorted to date. Soldiers, archers (armed with real weapons) and chariots stand in battle formation in underground vaults looking as fierce and war-like as pottery can. Xian’s other attractions include the old city walls, the Muslim quarter and the Banpo Neolithic Village – a tacky re-creation of the Stone Age.

Karakoram Highway
 Karakoram highway is very famous for the yak-nibbled highway over the Khunjerab Pass (4800m/15,740ft) is the gateway to Pakistan and was used for centuries by caravans plodding down the Silk Road. Khunjerab means ‘valley of blood’, a reference to local bandits who took advantage of the terrain to plunder caravans and slaughter the merchants.

Long gong Caves
Guizhou province’s awesome Long gong caves form a network through some 20 mountains. The caverns lie in Anshun County, at the Bouyi settlement of Shitou Zhai. Another scenic cave in the vicinity is Zhijin Cave. Anshun is a two-hour bus ride from Guiyang.

Qufu
 Qufu, near the sacred Taoist mountain Tai Shan, is the birthplace of Confucius (551-479 BC). Its massive Confucius Temple features a series of impressive gateways, clusters of twisted pines and cypresses, inscribed steles and tortoise tablets recording ancient events.

Turpan
 Turpan is an old city with a long history. It is a remote desert city in the far west of China, one of the lowest places on earth, where rain never falls and summers are scorching hot. Turpan was once an important staging post on the Silk Road and its large oasis produces most of the best grapes in China. Traces of humans being there can be dated as far back as 6,000 years ago. You can see the ancient Karez system of irrigation whereby the melted snow from the surrounding mountains is brought down to the town in underground channels, all dug by hand and stretching around some 3000KM.

Tianjin
Tianjin is one of the four municipalities in China. Its name means ‘the place where the emperor crossed the river’. In recent years Tianjin has received more and more attention from both tourists at home and abroad due to its numerous travel resources and rich history.

Tianjin has a variety of places to interest tourists. In the city itself is the beautiful Haihe River area, Tianjin Broadcasting and Television Tower, the well known Ancient Cultural Street, Food Street, the Memorial Hall of Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao, the Memorial Hall of the Beiping (Beijing)-Tianjin Campaign, Tianjin Science and Technology Museum and the Museums of Nature, History, Art, Opera and Folk Customs. In Tanggu there is the Seaside Villa famous for its thermal springs and the world renowned Dagu Fort. In Jixian County there is the Huangya Pass of the Great Wall, a section famous for its wonderful scenery. Jixian County also contains the state tourist area of Panshan Mountain and Dule Monastery. In Xiqing District, on the city’s outskirts, there is Shi house, the former home and tomb of Huo Yuanjia, the well-known patriot and first ancestor of martial arts.

Tianjin is well situated for travel by land, sea or air and has become an international tourist destination and a base in north China for chartered tourist planes. For travelers interested in commerce, study or tours centered on such things as preventative medicine or folk customs Tianjin has many advantages. It now only takes one hour to travel by car from Tianjin to Beijing on the new Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu Expressway, a golden tourist corridor.

Qingdao
Qingdao, located in the southeast part of Shandong Province, is a beautiful seaside city with clear air and enchanting sea view. This city, bordered by the Yellow Sea on two sides, has the largest bathing beach in Asia and produces the mellow Qingdao Beer. To the east of Qingdao, a short distance across the Yellow Sea.

Surrounded by the sea on three sides, Qingdao attracts many tourists with its charming seascape. Sights like the Eight Passes Villas, Wusi Square, the Zhan Bridge, Mt. Laotian, Badguan scenic Area. Qingdao offers food with distinctive flavors–especially seafood.

Day 01: Arrival Beijing and be transferred to designate hotel in the city center.
Day 02: After breakfast morning you will visit Tiananmen Square, the biggest city square in the world. Covering 440,000 square meters, it has witnessed many important historic events taking place here. Then pay a visit to the Forbidden City, one of the five most famous palaces in the world where 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties lived and ruled for over 500 years. After lunch the relaxing visit. And overnight stay at Hotel with B/L Plan.
Day 03: After breakfast in the  morning we drive towards northwest to visit the Badaling section of the Great Wall. Badaling is the site of the most visited section of the Great Wall of China, approximately 50 miles (80 km) northwest of urban Beijing city in Yanqing County, which is within the Beijing municipality. The portion of the wall running through the site was built during the Ming Dynasty, along with a military outpost reflecting the location’s strategic importance. The highest point of Badaling is Beibalou, approximately 0.63 miles (1,015 m) above sea level. This afternoon switch to Ming tombs and visit Changling. ChangLing is the largest and best preserved of the 13 Ming Tombs near Beijing. ChangLing, 4km from the entrance, is the tomb of Emperor YongLe (reign 1403-1424) and empress XuShi. The layout is identical to the tomb of the first Ming emperor in Nanjing and is rather like the Forbidden City in miniature. In addition to the palace, there is an underground burial chamber. Later then, go for Xiushui Street. This street is a shopping center in Beijing that accommodates over 1,700 retail vendors, notorious among international tourists for their wide selection of counterfeit designer brand apparels. Be picked up from your hotel at about 18:30pm and driven to Liyuan Theatre. Our English-speaking guide will lead you in. Enjoy Beijing Opera at a good seat, from 19:30pm-20:50pm. Day 04: After breakfast visit the tranquil setting of the Temple of Heaven where Emperors prayed for good harvests and the welfare of the people. The sacred and unique design of Temple of Beijing is characteristic of Ming Dynasty architecture and one of the most unique structures in Beijing. The Temple of Heaven has become a very popular meeting place for Beijing locals where they congregate to practice tai chi, dancing and singing.
After lunch head for the railway station and take a safe, fast and comfortable train rides to Chengde.

Day 05: After breakfast visit the majestic Summer Resort, the largest royal landscape in China today, enveloped within a smaller version of the Great Wall.  Day 06: Today after breakfast we start to explore Hutong to feel this unique architecture and local people’s life in Beijing. Later on, enjoy your time in Qianmen Street. Day 07: After breakfast we start a half hours’ drive to Shaolin Temple for a visit. It was here that Indian monk Bodhidarma stayed and taught the idea of Dyana (Zen) to his disciples. The temple is famous for its martial art – Kungfu as well. After lunch you will visit the graveyard of the temple, where a lot of tower-style tombs are set there. Then enjoy a free walk around. There are many Kungfu training schools there. In the afternoon be escorted to the White Horse Temple, the first Buddhist temple in China, established in 68 AD under the reign of Emperor Ming in the Eastern Han Dynasty.
Day 08: After breakfast start  visit to Longmen Grottoes, one of the three most important Buddhism grottoes in China. There are 2345 caves and niches, 2800 inscriptions, 43 pagodas and over 100,000 Buddhist images at the site. 30% of the caves date from the Northern Wei Dynasty, 60% from the Tang Dynasty, and caves from other periods less than 10%. It is the most impressive collection of Chinese art from these dynasties, which represents the zenith of stone carving in China. After having lunch head for the railway station and take a safe, fast and comfortable train ride to Xian.

Day 09: After breakfast start visit to the world famous Terra Cotta Warriors. It was discovered in 1974 and considered one of the eight wonders in the world. Day 10: After breakfast pay a visit to Shaanxi History Museum, which is one of the first huge state museums with modern facilities in China with over 300,000 items? Day 11: This morning you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Hangzhou.
In the afternoon you will visit the historic Hefang Street, an epitome of the history and culture of Hangzhou. And you will visit Huqingyutang, a famous traditional Chinese Medicine Museum. Day 12: After breakfast enjoy the picturesque sceneries while having the boat cruise on the West Lake. This afternoon take a visit to Zhejiang Museum, China Silk Museum and Southern Song Kiln Museum.
Day 13: After breakfast visit Lingyin temple, where has a quiet and beautiful grandeur that encourages a feeling of peace and for contemplation. Then, you are going to hike through mini-mountain Fei Lai Peak to discover many Buddhist rock carvings. Your next stop is to take a gander at Meijiawu Tea Village. After lunch enjoy half day tour to Xixi Wetland Park. It is a good way to get away from hustle and bustle and get close to the nature. Day 15: After breakfast travel to Yuyuan Garden, an exquisite classic garden with a history of more than 400 years. Then visit Jade Buddha Temple where two jade Buddha statues from Burma are housed. After lunch explore the Shanghai Old Street.
