This marvelous adventure begins with a scenic drive to Syabrubesi village at the foothills of Langtang and Ganesh Himal. From here our trek follows through wide range of villages and flora with the view of the high snow capped peaks, on reaching the high Langtang Valley and Kyangin Gompa. View of Naya Kanga is visible, a shapely mountain rising to the west of the Ganja La (5,122m/16,800ft). For acclimatization and high altitude exercise we take a walk and a climb to 5,550 m. Yala Peak. We have a day here before the summit for necessary preparation. The normal climbing route to summit on Naya Kanga is via the North-East Ridge, classically alpine in character and amidst the grand view of the surrounding high peaks including Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, Shisapangma and to the far western range of Mt Ganesh Himal and Annapurna.

Day 01
Katmandu (1300M) Arrival, Seven Star representative will meet you at the airport and escort you to the Hotel, Free at own and Evening dinner, overnight stays in Katmandu.

Day 02

In the morning drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche (1966M) which takes about eight hours. You head north out of Kathmandu driving through scenic foothills and ridgeline vistas to Dhunche. The first part of your drive up to Trishuli Bazaar is quite smooth. The path now moves along the gravel road. During the rainy season, the way is sometime blocked due to landslides. Your drive from Kathmandu to the destination is to be made by either local bus or land cruiser

Day 03

Trek from Dhunche to Syabru Gaon (2581M) which takes about five and half hours. Trek to Syabru Gaon (2120m). The trek today is leisurely one that takes you through forests and terraced hill slopes. As you enter Syabru, you descend to the ridgeline that separates the Langtang Khola from the Trisuli River. From here you can enjoy spectacular view of Lantang Lirung (7245M), Tibetan Himal ranges and so on.

Day 04

Rest at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and excursion around the places. For the acclimatization you walk up to Khunde Hospital which was set up by Sir Edmund Hillary, or a one hour walk up to the Syangboche (3800m.) where Everest View Hotel is situated above Namche Bazaar for the outstanding view of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kusum Kangaru. There are also good views from the National Park Centre and Museum just above the town. Stay overnight at lodge in Namche Bazar.

Day 05

Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3430M) via Ghore Tabela which takes about six hours. As you continue climbing there are occasional glimpses of Langtang Lirung between the trees. At Ghora Tabela [3000m], the trail emerges from the forest. While walking here, you can catch a glimpse of white monkeys and local birds. There is a monastery which we can visit shortly before arriving at the village of Langtang, the headquarters of the Langtang National Park. The houses of Langtang and its neighbouring villages are of the flat-roofed Tibetan style, surrounded by stone walls enclosing fields of buckwheat, potatoes, wheat, turnips and barley.

Day 06

Trek from Langtang Village to Kyangjin (3870M) which takes about three hours. The trail climbs gradually through small villages and yak pastures as the valley opens out further and the views become more extensive. After crossing several small streams and moraines, the trail reaches the settlement at Kyangjin. We should arrive at Kyangjin by lunch time allowing time to acclimatise and explore the area. At this point, you can enjoy the panoramic view of Dorje Lakpa (6990M), Langtang Ri (6370M), Langtang Lirung (7245M) and so on

Day 07

Rest day at Kyangjin Gompa and excursion in and around. This is day to rest and explore the area. You can visit the monastery and the cheese factory, walk up the moraine to see the spectacular ice faces and tumbling glaciers of Langtang Lirung or ascend Kyangjin Ri [4350M], directly behind the village, for a breath-taking panorama of the Langtang peaks.

Day 08

Trek from Kyangjin Gompa to Nyengang Kharka (4430M) which takes about five hours. After descending for about twenty minutes you cross a suspension bridge over Langtang Khola and then the trail moves uphill all the way to Nyengang Kharka. On both sides of your path you find juniper shrubs. You can enjoy the views of Langtang Lirung and Langtang Lirung glacier.

Day 09

Trek from Nyengang Kharka to Naya Kang High Camp (4960mM) which takes about four hours. The trail is steep ascent until you reach High Camp. You trek along the rocky and icy glacier. This day also you can enjoy the views of Langtang Lirung, Tserko ri, Ganchenpo peak, Kibgyu Ri, Yansi Tsenji peak and few others.

Day 10

Rest at Naya Kang High Camp. This is an acclimatization day so that you can make preparation for Naya Kang summit.

Day 11

Summit Naya Kang peak and climb back to Nyengang Kharka which takes about ten hours

Day 12

Trek from Nyengang Kharka to Kyangjin Gompa which takes about four hours. You trek downhill until you cross a suspension bridge over Langtang Khola. Now, you ascend for about twenty minutes to reach Kyangjin Gompa.

Day 13

Trek from Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel and it takes about six hours.
From Kyangjin you retrace your route, following the Langtang Khola to Langtang village and on to Ghora Tabela. After lunch you continue the steep descent to Lama Hotel.

Day 14

Trek from Lama Hotel to Syabru Besi via Sherpa Gaon which takes about five hours. The upper part of the trail is more beautiful for the panoramic view of mountains and green hill views. This path is broader and remains sunny through the different Shepra and Tamang villages. The first half part of the trail is gradually down and then the trail does steeply descent to the Syabru Besi (1600m.). The main inhabitants belong to Tamang community and they have adopted Tibetan lifestyle.

Day 15

Drive from Syabru Besi to Kathmandu by bus, which takes about nine hours.

Day 16

Final departure.

    Our Experience Sherpa
    The expedition will be supported by several strong and experienced Sherpa’s, at a ratio of one Sherpa to every two team members. If you book this trip early in advance, it would be much easier for us to make necessary pre-contract with our Sherpa’s who have many ascents of 8,000 meter peaks to their credit including Kanchenjunga and Everest, among others In preparation of the route and for summit day the Sherpa’s will be responsible for all load carrying and for pre-placing all of the camp stores essential for each team member’s ascent. This will leave the team members to focus on their own acclimatization and minimize exertion so that people start summit day least tired and as well prepared physically as possible. In addition to the Leaders, Sherpa’s will accompany the team to the top on summit day.
    If you join this team, you will have a high level of support, starting with strong, confident leadership and experienced Sherpa’s. This will maximize your chances of success without undermining the quality of your achievement. The Leader and any other Assistant Leaders will accompany you throughout the Peak climbing, as you would expect and our solidarity.

    Passport & Visa
    A passport with at list 6 month validity beyond the duration of the trip is required, and it is your responsibility to obtain your own visa (this can be obtained on the arrival at Kathmandu international airport at a charge of $ 40.00 equivalent currency valid for 30 days) you will need two passport size photographs for the Visa. We will forward you the visa form and equipment list once you booked for the trip with us. 4 passport size photographs and pass port details will also be required for the climbing permit & these should be supplied to Seven Star Trekking & Tour before start the Peak climbing.
    Insurance
    We require participants to have travel insurance that covers medical expenses, evacuation and repatriation. Please ensure that your chosen policy provides cover for the activities (trekking and climbing with guides and ropes) and the localities in which you will travel (Nepal, to elevations up to 5500M meters above sea level).
    Emergency Evacuation: Helicopter rescue services are available; Evidence of insurance will be required by the evacuation services before the helicopter will fly. We would suggest you to leave a copy of your medical insurance with us for necessary arrangement. However, emergency evacuation cost is not included in your expedition cost
    Additional Services:

    Bookings and Payments

    All Booking are made 45 days prior, with at least 30% of payment of the Trekking cost with additional full payment & other government charges. This will constitute acceptance by you of these Terms and Conditions. You need to submit a copy of each passport to our office via email or fax including two photos of passport size for TIMS Card and Trekking Permit Purpose. All payments are required per person as per trip.

    Note: 10% commission will be provide for the tour agents/tour operators.
    50% discount for a tour leader if there are 10 – 15 pax in a group and 100% free for the tour leader if there are 25 and above pax in a group.
