Poon hill trek is one of the easier trekking routes in the Annapurna region. The trail takes you through beautiful Modi khola valley up to Poon-hill, at the foothill of the Annapurna massif. Poon Hill is a viewpoint to see the Annapurna peaks including Machhapuchchhre (Mt. Fishtail), Mt. Dhaulagiri to the north and the transcendental valley to the south. Poon Hill,The region is dominated by the Gurungs and Magars, both are ethnic groups of Nepal. While descending on the way back to Pokhara, we pass through the paved courtyards of Ghandruk village, another popular traditional village of Gurungs and there we can experience their age old tradition and culture and interact with the local people.
Ghandruk is a popular place for treks in the Annapurna range of Nepal, with easy trails and various accommodation possibilities. From Ghandruk there are views to the mountains of Annapurna including Machapuchare.
Day 01: Pokhara to Tikhedhunda, Overnight at Tikhedhunda Lodge.
Day 02: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani, Overnight Ghorepani Lodge.
Day 03: Ghorepani to Tadapani: The Trail goes all the way up hill to Tadapani , Overnight Tadapani Lodge
Day 04: Tadapani to Ghandruk :The Trail goes all the way down hill to Ghandruk village , where you can see the traditional Gurung majority, Gurung culture, Museum in the village. Overnight Ghandruk Lodge.
Day 05: Ghandruk to Landruk Trek: The Trail goes all the way up hill to down Gurung village, From where you can view the Nilgiri, Annapurna & Dhaulagiri Mountain’s view very closely.
Day 06: Landruk to Dhampus, Overnight Dhampus village Lodge
Day 07: Dhampus to Phedhi 2 hrs down way Trek and Pedhi to Pokhara 2 hrs drive by Taxi to Pokhara

Bookings and Payments
All Booking are made 45 days prior, with at least 20% of payment of the Trekking cost with additional full payment & other government charges. This will constitute acceptance by you of these Terms and Conditions. You need to submit a copy of each passport to our office via email or fax including two photos of passport size for TIMS Card and Trekking Permit Purpose. All payments are required per person as per trip.
