Numbur Cheese Circuit (NCC); This trek is very best trek in Nepal and Situated in Ramechhap, some 190 km east of capital city Kathmandu, NCC is a 14 to 16- day circuit trail connecting two beautiful river; Khimti and Likhu in the lap of Everest and Rolwaling region. Named in honor of the virgin peak Numburchuli (6959 m) and one of Nepal’s first Yak Cheese factories, established in 1957; the NCC trail offers visitors the superb and breathtaking view of majestic Himalayan peaks including Everest range, Numburchuli, Gaurishankar, Jugal and Langtang Himal range combined with the still virgin and vibrant Sherpa cultural attractions.

NCC is primarily and eco- lodge camping trek combined with the unique home-stay experience both domestic and international visitors.

Numbur Cheese Circuit’ boasts superb breathtaking views of majestic Himalayan peaks including Numburchuli (6959m), Sarmoche (5255m) ramdung (5930m), chukyima Go (6259m), Parchamo (6273m), bigphrea Go Nup (6666m), Paniyo Tippa (6696m) and Paniyo Shar (6549m). It is also home to beautiful glacier and moraine such as Linkhu Nup0 Glacier, Bigphere Go Glacier, Surmoche Glacier, Likhu Glacier and other various tiny glacier s in the surroundings. The folded mountain range towards Gumdel Rocky Mountains in and around Panchpokhari and Tare areas and glaciated Landscape at Tare Kharka are some of most scenic Landscape in NCC. High Himalayan Lakes, revered by pilgrims and rich in biodiversity including Panchpokhari, Jatapokhari, Bhalepokhari, dudhpokhari are also among the prime attractions of the NCC for visitors. The circuit also provides ample opportunity to observe the rich biodiversity also the Khimti and Likhu river valleys, ranging from temperate to alpine vegetation that comprises folded pine forest, blooming rhododendrons, scattered bamboo patches and colorful pastures providing a suitable habitat for endangered wild animal and birds species such as Red panda, and Musk deer: Himalayan thar, various species of pheasant including Danfe, and if you are Lucky, the elusive Snow leopard. The NCC also comprises still vibrant culture and traditional Yak cheese production and terraced agriculture practices. Beautiful monasteries lie along the trail in Lhachhewar, Kyama, Gumdel, Bhandar and Thodung offers visitors the spiritual and meditation experiences. Primarily designed for eco-camping experience, the NCC is a 14 to 16 days circuit trek starting at Shivalaya and ending at those in Ramechhap district. Some highlights of the day to day tourist activities are provided below.

Day 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu airport and transfer to Hotel. Overnight in hotel on B/B meal plan.
Day 02:  In the morning after breakfast visit seven star office, get ready all the necessary equipment, familiarization with guide & helpers, paper work, After lunch Kathmandu sightseeing. Stay at hotel in Kathmandu on B/B meal plan.
Day 03:  KATHMANDU – SHVALAYA (8-9 HOURS) – stays at Hotel/Lodge accommodation. Drive to Jiri /Shivalaya (187 km from Kathmandu) through the mountain terrain following the traditionafl approach march for Everest. Enjoy fresh water fish and refreshments at Shivalaya. Arrange porter, local guides and other logistics at Shivalaya.
Day 04:  SHIVALAYA –KHAHARE (3-4 HOURS) – Home stay accommodation. Enjoy soft trekking along the Khimti River and enjoy lunch at Garjyang. Sherpa culture and home- stay accommodation at Khahare. Don’t forget to taste of NCC fresh Yak Cheese.
Day 05:  Khahare to trek Panipacka (3-4 hrs) – Camping accommodation.
Day 06:  Panipacka to trek Maanedanda (3-4 hrs) – Camping accommodation.
Day 07 : Maanedanda to trek Jatapokhari/Panchapokhari (4-5 hrs) Camping accommodation.
Day 08:  Panchapokhari stay, sightseeing around. Camping accommodation.
Day 09:  Panchapokhari to trek Tare (4-5hrs) – Camping accommodation.
Day 10:  Tare stays, sightseeing enjoying. Camping accommodation.
Day 11:  Tare to trek Gyazo La Pass to Ngeju (4-5 hrs) Camping accommodation.
Day 12:  Ngeju to trek Lhachhewar (4-5 hrs) Home stay accommodation.
Day 13:  Lhachhewar to Trek Kyama (3-4 hrs) Home stay accommodation.
Day 14 : Kyama to Trek Gumdel (2hrs) Home stay accommodation.
Day 15 : Gumdel-Serding OR Bhandar Trek (4 – 5 hrs) stays at Hotel/Lodge accommodation.
Day 16:  Serding/Bhandar to Thodung to Lapchane Trek (4-hrs) Home stays accommodation.
Day 17 : Lapchane to Those Trek (3hrs) stay at Hotel/Lodge accommodation.
Day 18:  Those to Kathmandu (8-9 hrs by bus) stay at Hotel/Lodge accommodation.
Day 19:  Leisure day in Kathmandu, shopping, complementary One hour long spa treatment, evening farewell dinner at Nepalese classic dance restaurant with seven star team.
Day 20:  Departure to your destination.

    Passport & Visa
    A passport with at list 6 month validity beyond the duration of the trip is required, and it is your responsibility to obtain your own visa (this can be obtained on the arrival at Kathmandu international airport at a charge of $ 40.00 equivalent currency valid for 30 days) you will need two passport size photographs for the Visa. We will forward you the visa form and equipment list once you booked for the trip with us. 4 passport size photographs and pass port details will also be required for the climbing permit & these should be supplied to Seven Star Trekking & Expeditions  before start the trekking.
    Insurance
    We require participants to have travel insurance that covers medical expenses, evacuation and repatriation. Please ensure that your chosen policy provides cover for the activities (trekking and climbing with guides and ropes) and the localities in which you will travel (Nepal, to elevations up to 6,169M meters above sea level).
    Emergency Evacuation: Helicopter rescue services are available; Evidence of insurance will be required by the evacuation services before the helicopter will fly. We would suggest you to leave a copy of your medical insurance with us for necessary arrangement. However, emergency evacuation cost is not included in your expedition cost
    All Booking are subjected to made 15 days prior, with at least 20% of payment of the Trekking/Climbing cost with additional full payment & other government charges. This will constitute acceptance by you of these Terms and Conditions. You need to submit a copy of each passport to our office via email or fax including two photos of passport size for Trekking Permit Purpose. All payments are required per person as per trip.
    Rest of the due payment you can pay after your arrival direct to the office before the trip started.
