PHAPLU EVEREST BASE CAMP TREKKING 20 days

Share

Phaplu Everst base Camp Trekking also takes you closed the Mt. Everest. We follow the footsteps of the previous trekking with slightly variation. We fly to Phaplu to avoid the long bus drives. We commence our trekking from Solu region which is quite calm and soothing. You should cross the Trakshindo La before walking down towards the Dudhkoshi River. We trek along this river and follow north through terraced hill sides and small village. Then we happen to join the main Everest trail below Lukla. You will have enough time to adjust yourself on the trail here. Gradually you feel a kind of fitness and then we continue trekking towards Namche bazzar.

While doing trek in the khumbu region, we will witness the different views of mountains such as Kwangde, Thamserku, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, the “horse saddle” of Kanteiga and of course the summit of Everest itself. We take a short rest for a while and it allows us little time for acclimatization. Here, you prepare yourself to explore the ascent of kalapatthar which is an altitude of 5545m. While climbing down from Lobuche, you will see some glacial moraine until the peak comes into view. Finally, you will be witnessing the north face of Mt. Everest. We return through a different route through Panboche to Lukla. We catch a flight for Kathmandu from Lukla.

We are many expectations that all Trekkers will come to see some of the world famous mountains such as Everest 8848m, Lhotse 8501m, Nuptse 7879m, Tawachee 6542m. You will also notice Tengboche monastery which is a religious center for all Sherpa living worldwide. Khumjung is the largest village which is situated on the foot of Khumbila Mountain.
