Rara Lake is the biggest and deepest freshwater lake in the Nepal Himalayas. Rara Hiking Tour is the main feature of Rara National Park, located in Jumla and Mugu Districts. Rara Hiking Tour was declared a Ramsar site, covering 1,583 ha (6.11 sq mi) including the surrounding wetland.
Rara Hiking Tour has been a popular destination with a very rough route in Western Nepal for trekkers & Traveler. The glimpses of culture and scenery on the way are quite different from the rest of Nepal. This is a very very unique hiking tour, once get off from Talcha domestic airport, we have to do 2 hours uphill hiking and then we get the Rara lake. this is a breathtaking place.
